IncrediBuild's add-in (menu) is missing in Visual Studio

Cause: This may occur if you have installed a different version of Visual Studio after already having IncrediBuild installed on the machine.

To re-apply the IncrediBuild add-in:

  1. Close Visual Studio.
  2. Open Agent Settings.
  3. from the Visual Studio add-in tab, select the Visual Studio version you are now using.
  4. Confirm the change and reopen Visual Studio.

If this didn't work, try:

  1. Close Visual Studio.
  2. Open Agent Settings.
  3. From the Visual Studio Add-in tab, re-install the add-in using the "Install add-in" option.
  4. Reopen Visual Studio and close it once more to save the changes made.

If you open multiple instances of Visual Studio at the same time, it seems step 5 should be "Open VS and close it again". After that, all projects will open with the add-in. Otherwise, only the first project you open will have the add in.
