What is the recommended precompiled header (PCH) setting?
Posted by - NA - on 19 April 2005 09:14 AM
For best build performance, either disable use of PCH altogether, or use precompiled headers through a single header file (like stdafx.h). If you choose the second option, invest time in adding #include statements for header files that are commonly used but rarely changed in the file "stdafx.h". Be sure to remove #include statements for header files you added to "stdafx.h" from other places in code that use the precompiled header.

For more information on PCH use, consult the MSDN documentation.
